Our community depends on people who are willing to make a difference to improve the lives of those around us. I will continue to dedicate myself to the job of listening, working overtime, and getting results for ALL the families of Carrollton---whose children, like mine, are being educated in CFBISD.

A Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Board of Trustees must be a leader. My background makes me well qualified since I work directly with the public in many aspects of my career. My day to day work responsibilities require me to research all sides of issues, take public input, and make informed decisions. I have three children who are CFBISD students, and I have a vested interest in the success of CFBISD. I served as Chair of the Elementary Citizens Committee (2003 Bond Program) as well.

My highest priorities as a Trustee would be to set goals and policies to address:
1.) budget issues
2.) hiring and retaining qualified teachers
3.) prioritizing needs and programs considering available funding

I will continue to work with our legislators to address the issue of proposed school finance solutions and educate voters about impacts of decisions from state legislators removing local school district control regarding school calendars and funding.

I am asking the voters of Carrollton-Farmers Branch to extend the honor and responsibility of building upon our great community and leading our School Board in the right direction by reelecting me to Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Board of Trustees – Place 2.
